In June 2011, Barrow Regional Medical Center introduced TMC Rehab, which expanded BRMC's physical and occupational therapy and wellness services. For the convenience of patients, TMC Rehab will add three additional locations to Barrow Regional’s therapy services in Athens, Watkinsville and Winder. TMC Rehab draws its therapy expertise from The Morris Center for Sports Medicine which has served the Athens, Watkinsville and Winder areas for more than a decade. TMC Rehab services include therapy for conditions such as back and shoulder pain, leg and foot pain, balance issues, women’s health issues, work injuries, jaw pain and sports injuries. In addition, patients will receive therapy services from TMC Rehab physical therapists during their stay at Barrow Regional Medical Center as inpatients. TMC Rehab serves both Inpatients (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) and outpatients (by appointment).

The well-qualified and trained staff at TMC Rehab work with the patient to create an individualized therapy plan based on evaluation, physician input and feedback, and track the patient's progress through scheduled sessions. TMC Rehab's goal is to help patients improve their quality of life by minimizing pain and increasing functionality for patients with disabilities or injuries.
All insurances will be accepted at the Athens, Watkinsville and both Winder locations.

We offer easy and convenient scheduling and we accept all major insurance plans including Medicare and Medicaid. All physical therapy or rehabilitation visits require physician referral. New evaluations need to be scheduled before 4:00 pm.
