What is a Diabetes Support Group?

A support group for people with diabetes and their loved ones. It can help you learn more about diabetes and offer you emotional and social support to live well with diabetes.It can help you support those you love who have diabetes.

What Can I Learn?

You can learn from diabetes experts, physicians and other people dealing with the disease, about how to better care for yourself.  You can also help others by sharing your own experiences.

What kinds of things will we cover?


Many topics of interest will be covered including:
  • Diabetes Nutrition
  • Carbohydrate Counting
  • Foot Care
  • Glucose Monitoring
  • Preventing Diabetes
  • Eye Problems
  • Kidney Infections
  • Bladder Infections
  • Diabetes Medications
  • Cooking Modifications
