Jennifer Huston, RN, MSN
Chief Nursing Officer
Jennifer Huston joined Barrow Regional Medical Center as the Chief Nursing Officer on Monday,
November 29, 2010.
She was previously the Director
of Surgery at Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma (a 148-bed Health Management
facility in Durant, Oklahoma). Prior to
working in Durant, Jennifer worked in a variety of leadership and nursing roles
with Community Health Systems, Deaconess Gateway Hospital ( Newburgh, Indiana),
Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center (Leitchfield, Kentucky), Deaconess Women’s
Hospital (Newburgh, Indiana), and Wellborn Baptist Hospital/St. Mary’s Medical
Center (Evansville, Indiana).
Huston received her Associate of Science degree in Nursing from Ivy Tech
State College in Evansville, IN and is a graduate of The University of Southern
Indiana in Evansville, IN with both her Bachelor of Science and Master of
Science degrees in Nursing.
“I chose Winder, because the staff at Barrow
Regional seem loyal to the hospital and dedicated to their community,” said
Huston. “My goal is to
build on that loyalty and dedication to provide the best health care we can to
every patient who visits BRMC. I personally feel working in a hospital is
serving God in a hands on way.”
Huston and her husband, Mike, enjoy their 2 four-legged kids, camping, NASCAR, traveling
(especially cruises) and visiting
family.
