Linda R. Easterly, RN, BSN, MS, COHN-S
Chief Nursing Officer
Linda Easterly holds a BSN (Bachelor
of Science in Nursing) degree from Wright State University in Dayton,
OH, an MSA in
Management from Georgia College & State University as well as an MS in Healthcare Policy and Administration from Mercer University.
Easterly
has held numerous positions in and out of healthcare. She served in the United States Air Force for
over seven years; was an accounts manager in a food plant; managed an Obstetric
Unit; and has also been the Director of the Occupational Health & Wellness
program for Houston Healthcare, Kathleen, Georgia.
Easterly is licensed as an RN in both Georgia
and Ohio; holds the distinction of Certified Occupational Health Nurse
Specialist (COHN-S) and holds a certificate of competency in Occupational
Health Practice Management.
Easterly
is the current president of the Georgia Nurses Foundation and past president of
the Georgia
Nurses Association. She was a member of
the State Board of Nursing in Georgia. She is the current Chief Volunteer Officer
for the Georgia Piedmont YMCA. Additionally,
she has membership in the American College of Healthcare Executives, the American Nurses
Association, the Georgia Nurses Association, the Georgia Organization of Nurse
Leaders, the Barrow County Chamber of Commerce, and Rotary International, Braselton, GA
Chapter. For her exceptional service and
dedication to her community and profession, Easterly has received countless
awards, among them are the Outstanding Alumni Award – Wright State University –
2008, the Georgia Nurses Association’s Nurse of the Year for 2003, the Perry
Rotarian of the Year for 2001-2002, and the Perry Area Chamber of Commerce
Volunteer of the Year for 1998.
Easterly splits her time between Athens and
Kathleen, GA with her husband, Glenn.
Her stepdaughter, Elizabeth Auden and family live in Nashville, TN.
